The website is intended for people aged 18 or over. By using it, you confirm that you are.

If you have any questions about these terms, get in touch using the details at the bottom of this page.
1. Accepting these terms
By using the website you accept these terms. How your personal data is handled is covered separately in the Privacy Policy. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used where you’ve agreed to them, or where the law allows it without consent.
2. Using the website
Please only use the website for lawful purposes, and in a way that doesn’t affect anyone else’s rights or their use of the site. That means no harassing or upsetting other people, no posting obscene or offensive content, and no attempting to disrupt or interfere with the website.
3. Content
3.1 Ownership
All content on the website, including text, graphics, images and videos, belongs to Jack Went or the people who supplied it, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You can’t copy, distribute or reuse it without permission. Scripts, code, configs and downloadable files (such as 3D models) are shared so you can use, print and adapt them for your own projects. Please don’t sell them or republish them as your own; linking back to the page is the best way to share them.
3.2 Content you send me
If you send me content to feature on the website, for example a project, you keep all your rights to it. You give me a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish and display it on the website.
3.3 Accuracy
I do my best to keep everything accurate and up to date, but I can’t promise the content is always complete, correct or current. Technology changes quickly, so check things for your own setup.
3.4 Scripts, code, downloads and guides
Scripts, code, configs, downloadable files, wiring diagrams and instructions on the website are provided as they are, without any warranty. Read and test them before using them on systems that matter, and make sure you have backups. Electronics projects are low voltage only; check the wiring against your own boards’ pinouts before powering anything up, and never work on mains electrics unless you’re qualified to. You use all of this at your own risk.
4. Links to other websites
The website links to other sites and services, including the sources in the vulnerability feed, that I don’t own or control. I’m not responsible for their content, privacy practices or anything that happens as a result of using them.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, including loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, that results from:
- your access to, use of, or inability to use the website
- anything a third party does or publishes on or through the website
- any content you get from the website, including scripts and code
- anyone accessing or changing your transmissions or content without permission
This applies whatever the legal basis, including warranty, contract or negligence, and even if I’ve been told the loss was possible. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that can’t be limited or excluded by law.
6. Indemnity
You agree to protect me from, and cover, any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and costs (including reasonable legal and accounting fees) that arise from your use of the website or from you breaking these terms.
7. Suspending access
I may suspend or stop your access to the website at any time, without notice, including if you break these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them or the website will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
9. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. If I make a significant change I’ll try to give at least 30 days’ notice on the website before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
